Is there a way to find out ingredients of last medicatin versus new one as I for one do not believe for one second they are the same. Nothing like I noticed later that the branch I had on 10mg was made by accord I'm on it again now on 5mg & I'm back getting the unsteady feeling back. So yes I believe it.
I often wondered if the memory dificulties were exacerbated by the person's use of Amlodipine (and other medications to lower high blood pressure). My partner and I (both on Amlodipine) both exprerience recall problems rather than memory loss. Other comments on memory is also common and was a particular concern for me as most of my home visits were to people with dementia. It has become our "in joke" when we have an "absense moment".
T.C. I hope this helps someone.
I would be grateful for any advice.
Then my pharmacy switched to Mylan and within a couple days I was getting constant hot flashes and leg cramps. Someone earlier posted lists of inactive ingredients (dyes, talc, fillers, etc) for Femara, and the generics from Sun, Accord & Teva--Femara had the fewest (and fewest reported SEs here).

I am on the edge of menopause at 50 yo and not crazy about the risks of Endometrial Cancer and clots with Tamoxifen so I may opt for the Lupron and AI (which MO is in favor of). I'd love to know your experience with this to see if there one brand that seems to be better overall or if it is a person by person type of thing. I am finishing up rads this Friday and go back to see MO on 6/29 when he will prescribe me either Tamoxifen or Lupron + an AI (don't know which one if any he prefers).
All of the brands i looked at (Mylan, Accord, Teva, Roche, and Qualitest) had magnesium stearate, cornstarch, and micro crystaline cellulose. I noticed that two of the brands that people seemed to like more(Roche and Teva) had Aluminum Oxide in them as an inactive ingredient. I did a little snooping and it.

Can you do that even though the script is at a different pharmacy? Like have it transferred?

Can you choose your brand of generic, outside of knowing what pharmacy stocks what?

I have been on Amitrityline for many years, and, it's been very effective too.
Takes forever to start urinating, no pressure when urinating or ejaculating, split stream, burning after ejaculation, sometimes urine retention, slight ED occasionally. How would you describe your prostatitis after taking Amitryptiline? (I'm guessing if you have been taking it for 20 years, it must help!) I'm 28 and have been dealing with prostatitis for 12 years now (Chronic non bacterial), it's starting to get me down.
